This new artwork is called 'Kaleidoscopic' and is composed of torched CD and DVD-R materials. Photo doesn't do it justice but it's the best I could do with my limited photographic skills. This one is available. If you are interested, message me.

'Collection III' is a more detailed 3-D array of torched CD and DVD fragments arrayed in more detailed configurations. This one took much longer than the other 'Collection' pieces.

Another 3-D 'Collection'-themed work with jewel-like chips of torched CD and DVD material elevated on tiny pedestals above a foil covered substrate. This one is, of course, titled 'Collection II'.

With this artwork, I am going in a different direction or genre. The 3 dimensional elements are torched foils over medallions or heat-textured CD and DVD plastics. They are elevated on little pedestals and arranged in an array similar to a mineral or insect collection display. Maybe they are some type of alien artifacts - who knows. This one is titled 'Collection I'.

This new piece is another textured aluminum, 3 dimensional artwork that is composed of amorphous discs of striated aluminum covered in torched confectioner's foils arranged in layers above a foil covered substrate. Title is 'Cluster'.

This multi-hued artwork is composed of multiple unique elements. The large central rectangle is a piece of textured board covered in torched foil. Multiple strips of torched CD and DVD 'jewels' complement the other foil covered elements that reflect textured aluminum substrates and deformed CD plastic surfaces. Dig it!!!! The title of this work is 'Zowie!'

Emulating some type of archaic tableau, this 3-dimensional array of textured plaques could be door to an ancient treasure trove, the cover of a reliquary or the magical entry to the tomb of an incredible entity from across the galaxy. Some have said it reminds them of a slab of carbonite with an alien creature embedded within.  Or maybe it's just an eye-pleasing arrangement of colored and textured rectangles concocted in a lonely artist's basement studio. It is a mixed media 'mosaic' that can be framed and wall hung.  The materials are heat-modified confectioners' foils over heat textured pieces of CD and DVD.  The slabs are raised 1/8" above the substrate.  I titled it 'Ancient'.
